MTA's Health Scheinces Building
The new Health Science Building works to fundamentally connect and respond to its environment in order to promote efficiency and health.
Rather than approaching the building as "sealed box", the building's envelope and materials are designed to accommodate Jaffa's local weather and the site natural proximity.
During the design process, several fundamental decisions focused on our ability to harness natural ventilation potential, given its ability to substantially reduce energy use and improve thermal comfort.
The design itself utilized innovative energy modeling to allow for more accurate prediction of the natural ventilation potential of the local environment.
