The Ashkelon Art Center

The new Performing Arts Center in Ashkelon is a unique project designed in partnership with architect Manuelle Gautrand, one of the most prominent architects in the world today. The center, 5,500 square meters, will hold music and dance schools and, alongside established a public square which will host out door performances including an interactive activity area for movement and music.

The Tabernacle is divided into two separate sections including Dance School and music conservatory. At ground floor there is a large auditorium of 500 seats.

Client: Municipality of Ashkelon through its economic company.

Domain: 10,000 sqm near the sports hall on the axis of Sderot Ben Gurion.

Total Area: 5500 sqm.

Project Cost: 100 M Shekel.

Planning Phase: Submission permit a detailed design level.
