Considering the importance of the square in the perception of all visitors of the city of Hod Hasharon, The plan tries to transform the disconnected square to a vital organ in the city life.
The plan’s objective was to create a new cultural center and Community activities for the residence of east of Hod Hasharon while preserving the legacy of the Historic Place with its Synagogue.
The plan contains on removing the motorized vehicles to an outer Radius and freeing the close Radius for pedestrian and bicycle use only. In addition, we suggest inserting underground parking as a response to the needs which will grow due to the addition of commerce, residence, cultural and public spaces that we offer.
The most important building we suggest to make in the area of the new square is a Cultural center with public functions such as a Library, an Auditorium, a conservatorium, a gallery and an activity center for children and teenagers.
