High Risk Children’s Day Care Club

General Info

This project, located on Jerusalem Street in Netivot, was established through the initiative of the Legacy Heritage Fund, in partnership with The Jewish Agency for Israel. Its goal is to provide educational, emotional, and social support to at-risk elementary school children in the city.

The complex includes three after-school centers (maoniyot), divided by age group, serving elementary school-aged children. The total built area covers approximately 420 square meters, with dedicated outdoor spaces attached to each group for recreation, social activities, and open-air play.

Recognizing the importance of home-like surroundings for at-risk children, the interior design of each center intentionally resembles a residential apartment, avoiding any institutional or formal appearance. The layout includes dedicated areas for both quiet and group activities, dining spaces, warm furnishings, and a palette of calm colors and finishes that together create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
